Originally formed in 2018 with the primary purpose of being to take top level Australian musicianship far and wide, including remote areas of Australia - hence the name "Outback Brass" was born.
Founder Phill O'Neill spent a number of years living in regional Australia where top-level musical performances are less common than in coastal centres and major cities. This experience planted a seed for Phill to find a way to connect wider Australia with the best brass music available. Read more

The music of Steely Dan has been a seminal part of rock history, bridging the gap between traditional pop and jazz. Aja was released in 1977 and has arguably been their most critically acclaimed album.
The Kites have been recognised for their unique interpretation of Steely Dan’s songs.
Now for the first time the band will perform the album Aja in its entirety in a 9 piece band format. Read more
